Springing Back into Industry Events

Starting in February, TradeWorks kicked off our Spring events schedule with the Industrial Water and Effluent Treatment (iWET) Webinar Series, organized by the Smart Water and Waste World Team. CEO Meni Mancini discussed the value of cost-effective and sustainable treatment solutions that harness the power of biological optimization to increase performance without major capital expenditure.

With the return of in-person events, the TradeWorks Team reconnected with industry stakeholders around the US and Canada. Texas Water is the largest regional water and wastewater conference in North America, so it was an exciting first conference after two years of virtual interactions. Exhibiting in the Innovation Lounge offered opportunities to share our novel wastewater treatment solutions while catching up with old friends, clients and colleagues.

Following San Antonio, the Team headed to Las Vegas for the Municipal Wastewater Summit. The Summit is organized by one of North America's largest business-to-business media companies, and the quality of networking opportunities was top notch. As a technology provider, the small group and one-on-one sessions with leaders of wastewater treatment systems offered valuable space to discuss challenges and business opportunities.

The last stop on our spring events tour was the EnviroTech 2022 conference in Calgary. This event provides a forum for industry experts to present leading edge technologies and solutions across Alberta's environmental sector. TradeWorks presented on a successful application of our technology to improve biological nutrient removal, enhance biogas production and reduce excess sludge production at a local wastewater treatment facility.

These events were a valuable reminder that there is no substitution for face-to-face engagement. The Team looks forward to a summer filled with great conversations, creative problem solving and more opportunities to connect with our clients and partners.
